After rewatching the anime “Your Lie in April”, I was very motivated to make an instrument in my own style. And since the violin stood out the most from the anime, I decided to make a futuristic violin with additional functions. I tried to keep the original shape of the traditional violin while keeping my own style to it. VIO//N is an electric violin that can be easily mass-produced, unlike traditional violins, with the functionality of being able to store the violin bow to the violin itself. So there is no need for a case; you can just carry it around on your back. I made this product with the hope of making violins more affordable and available. With its portability and futuristic design, it breaks the stereotype of violins only being an orchestra instrument.
