My idea was first initiated by my desire to make a good-looking portable battery charger. I needed a charger so bad but I couldn’t find one that was aesthetically pleasing. I needed the charger because my phone and my headphones lack the battery life to stay on for as long as I use them. So I thought, why not combine headphones with a portable charger? And that is what I tried to do with SJ1007. The meaning of “SJ1007” is simply my initials and my birthday. I tried to design my new headphones to be just as compact as my Sony headphones but with the ability to charge multiple other devices like phones. I also added additional features such as a screen on the side, thinking that it would be nice if others were able to see what music I was listening to. Most people at my school are curious about what music I listen to because I am constantly wearing my headphones.
